Mystic Nymph: Mystique Shutterbug: Thesis Proposal Defense Get-Up (Week 2)

I'll let you in a little revelation about my favorite usernames in my virtual sites. First is about my Mikimoto Angel pen name. Mikimoto is a famous brand of pearl accessories in America. I first saw that brand in Vogue Magazine. I got mesmerized by that label, and I thought of using it. I just added Angel from my name "Angela". Thus, the formation of Mikimoto Angel.

For my other pen name Mystic Nymph, the word mystic really came from the show Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. I used to be so hooked to that show. I am also obsessed with mythologies, and nymphs are mythical creatures depicted as beautiful young women who are considered as guardians of objects and places in nature. Thus, the evolution of Mystic Nymph.

Mystique Shutterbug: Thesis Proposal Defense Get-Up (Week 2)

Enough of those long blog entries about my feelings for a short while. I'm gonna take a rest in writing first, cause now I'll be sharing you some photos again. The next episode of this blog series is on fashion -- specifically my style when I had my first ever defense for my thesis proposal last Tuesday (March 1, 2011). I was supposed to do my defense last Monday, but my panelists and adviser were not around so they decided to have it the next day. So to cut the long story short, this is how I dressed up.

My Outfit:

Top: Dorothy Perkins

Trousers: Club Monaco

Booties: Le Donne

Bangle: SM Dep't Store

Studs&Necklace: From England

Leather Bag: From England

I was a bit emotionally disturbed that day cause I didn't have that good results for my proposal. Good thing though that the area where I really want to investigate on is still the same. It's just that, my focus and type of study are changed. From my proposed descriptive study, they wanted to have it as a case study instead. It bothers me a great deal, but I know God will enlighten my troubled thoughts. This has been Mystique Shutterbug. Drop by again next week for another set of photos.
