Welcome Readers!

Welcome to the Mystic Blog of the only Mystic Nymph! I hope you have a blast reading my thoughts, and I hope you drop by again!

I'll let you in a little revelation about my favorite usernames in my virtual sites. First is about my Mikimoto Angel pen name. Mikimoto is a famous brand of pearl accessories in America. I first saw that brand in Vogue Magazine. I got mesmerized by that label, and I thought of using it. I just added Angel from my name "Angela". Thus, the formation of Mikimoto Angel.

For my other pen name Mystic Nymph, the word mystic really came from the show Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. I used to be so hooked to that show. I am also obsessed with mythologies, and nymphs are mythical creatures depicted as beautiful young women who are considered as guardians of objects and places in nature. Thus, the evolution of Mystic Nymph.

Mystique Shutterbug: Week 1

I am a textual blogger. That's the image I want to portray to my readers through my niche. I just love writing about different kinds of stuffs. In fact, I'm obsessed and passionate about it. Because I love writing that much, I always make it a point that I get to write all the things I want to share without holding back. I don't do shortcuts, cause I want to expound my ideas. Honestly, I feel so bad whenever I could not elaborate on the things I want to say. For me, lengthy pieces are better ones. That's what I've learned from my favorite College Professor, Ms. Jennifer Eligio. She didn't actually told us that in class, but that's what I've realized through her comments on our write-ups.

To tell you the truth, my hand can express better than my mouth. I am more of a writer than a speaker. Maybe you'll just get bored talking to me in person, but I hope you won't. I guess that statement contradicts my field of study, cause I'm a Speech and Corporate Communications major. But hey, I'm just saying the truth. There are actually times when I just stare blankly at one corner, and wish that I should have chosen the Creative Non-Fiction Program instead. How I wish I have the best of both worlds. I truly desire to be a productive communicator through both writing and speaking.

So now, let me end that drama unfolding in my mystic blog post. I have thought of kicking off a new blog series that will feature my next favorite thing -- photography. This will have LESSER WORDS and MORE PICTURES. Yeah, I know it's overrated. But who cares? It's still an IN thing, by the way. This series is called MYSTIQUE SHUTTERBUG. I will show you the photos I took that I deem fall under the Principles of Photography. I will post one set of pictures every week. To start off, let me share you these pictures of things taken everywhere using the Macro-Shot principle. I hope you enjoy.

Hi kat. This is a nice series you've chosen. :) I think you can pull it off well. You're very expressive and of course, photos make entries much more interesting. It adds more life to entries.

I can pretty much relate on writing and speaking. I really don't speak well in english. In fact I get my tongue tied still... :D I just love writing compared to speaking in english. I can express more in writing too. Sometimes I want my tongue to level with how fast I type and make up words. Hehe. But, I'm doing my best to express my self in speaking. I'm talkative... but I'm not englisherah. hahaha.

Thanks for believing in me Tessa! hahahaha ang drama ata ng pagkakasabi ko. Haha! I actually don't have problems speaking English orally, it's just that I always experience mental block because of my stage fright. I hope I get used to speaking in public soon.

Hello Ms. Z! My course requires a lot of public speaking but then I'm still having stage fright up until now. Haha
