Welcome Readers!

Welcome to the Mystic Blog of the only Mystic Nymph! I hope you have a blast reading my thoughts, and I hope you drop by again!

Marquee

I'll let you in a little revelation about my favorite usernames in my virtual sites. First is about my Mikimoto Angel pen name. Mikimoto is a famous brand of pearl accessories in America. I first saw that brand in Vogue Magazine. I got mesmerized by that label, and I thought of using it. I just added Angel from my name "Angela". Thus, the formation of Mikimoto Angel.

For my other pen name Mystic Nymph, the word mystic really came from the show Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. I used to be so hooked to that show. I am also obsessed with mythologies, and nymphs are mythical creatures depicted as beautiful young women who are considered as guardians of objects and places in nature. Thus, the evolution of Mystic Nymph.

Gastronomy: A Treat at Pancake House

Peach Waffle

Junior Master Chef inspired Pork Silog

Pan Chicken Special Set

March 29 2012 was a special day for my sister Mikaela, because she just graduated from elementary. As a treat for her, my parents gave her a new phone and lunch at her restaurant of choice. She wanted to eat at Pancake House because they serve meals inspired by the dishes created by the kiddie cooks of Pinoy Junior Master Chef.

We had Peach Waffle, Hot Roast Chicken Set (Mine), Ham Steak Special Set (Janine’s), JMC inspired Pork Silog (Mikee’s) and Pan Chicken Special Set (Mom’s). We didn’t expect that the Peach Waffle was crispy, because it didn’t look like it in the menu. I enjoyed my meal a lot because I have a thing for roasted chicken, and taco filled with white onions, cheese and lettuce.

I love Pancake House because of their laid-back setting and of course, great grub. I like that they use movie posters as displays for their interiors. The price, place and customer service don’t necessarily put me off, unlike other food spots that offer Western dining menu. For me, it’s not gratifying eating at a joint that’s too intimidating.

Too bad Papa and Miko weren’t able to be with us during this small celebration. Papa went straight to his office right after the graduation ceremony, and Miko was busy with her thesis. Nevertheless, it was still a delightful gastronomical experience. I’m hoping next time no one gets left behind again. Much love, connoisseurs!

Wow the pancakes look yummy and the other stuff is completely unknown to me! I have never seen anything like it before! So cool. ALSO - I just read that someone has been stealing your content and posting on their blog. Is this still happening? If so I was thinking maybe us bloggers could team up and sign a petition to make people aware and maybe try and get Google to remove it :)

Happy Easter!
