Welcome Readers!

Welcome to the Mystic Blog of the only Mystic Nymph! I hope you have a blast reading my thoughts, and I hope you drop by again!

Marquee

I'll let you in a little revelation about my favorite usernames in my virtual sites. First is about my Mikimoto Angel pen name. Mikimoto is a famous brand of pearl accessories in America. I first saw that brand in Vogue Magazine. I got mesmerized by that label, and I thought of using it. I just added Angel from my name "Angela". Thus, the formation of Mikimoto Angel.

For my other pen name Mystic Nymph, the word mystic really came from the show Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. I used to be so hooked to that show. I am also obsessed with mythologies, and nymphs are mythical creatures depicted as beautiful young women who are considered as guardians of objects and places in nature. Thus, the evolution of Mystic Nymph.

Devouring Movies and TV Series

Apart from my Mom's scrumptious and delectable home-made goodness, I've been devouring a lot of movies and TV series these past few days, and that's because I'm no longer that stressed with school. What a relief that I can do what I love to do from now on. I only have thesis (due on November 10, 2011) to think about, and guess what, I don't want to talk about it. It's perfectly a colossal waste of time. I mentioned before that I'm not a movie/series buff, but I'm taking that back now. I am now a full-fledged couch potato. How 'bout that? The following productions are so cool, they don't bore me:

LIFE AS WE KNOW IT
Two single adults become caregivers to an orphaned girl when their mutual best friends die in an accident.

WHEN IN ROME
Beth is a young, ambitious New Yorker who is completely unlucky in love. However, on a whirlwind trip to Rome, she impulsively steals some coins from a reputed fountain of love, and is then aggressively pursued by a band of suitors.

LOVE ME IF YOU DARE
As adults, best friends Julien and Sophie continue the odd game they started as children -- a fearless competition to outdo one another with daring and outrageous stunts.

BREAKING BAD
Informed he has terminal cancer, an underachieving chemistry genius turned high school chemistry teacher turns to using his expertise in chemistry to provide a legacy for his family... by producing the world's highest quality crystal meth.

COMMUNITY
A smarmy lawyer whose education is deemed void by the bar is forced to attend a local community college with an extremely eclectic staff and student body.

NEW GIRL
After a bad break-up, Jess, a quirky young woman, moves into an apartment loft with three single men. Although they find her behavior very unusual, the men support her and they become like family.

May I just add that Josh Duhamel is my new ULTIMATE HOLLYWOOD CRUSH alongside, Channing Tatum, Ian Harding, Nicholas D'Agosto and Milo Ventimiglia. I so love him in Life As We Know It. Aside from the fact that he's too-hot-I-can't-handle-him in that film, I also dig the story. Katherine Heighl and him make a really cute couple. I love that Holly and Eric's story began with friendship, and that they weren't in a whirlwind romance unlike other chick flicks I've watched. Another thing I love about it is that it's almost a two-hour film, which means his exposure is quite long!

What other interesting TV series and movies can you suggest me buddies? Give me a buzz!

I miss having all the time in the world to watch movies and televisions shows. Right now, I'm just following one TV series and that's Hell Kitchen. I'm interested with the conflict going on, the challenge rewards (which make it the most expensive culinary competition), and who's going to win in the end.

I have watched some of these movies, and Love Me If You Dare is definitely my favourite...

It's so thought-provoking and sad in the end. :(

I love the movie When In Rome. Kristen Bell is one of my favorite actresses.

Over the Summer I was watching lots of movies and tv series but the past month I haven't had time.

I have the movie Love Actually that I bought a few months ago but I've been saving it to closer to the holidays to watch.
