Welcome Readers!

Welcome to the Mystic Blog of the only Mystic Nymph! I hope you have a blast reading my thoughts, and I hope you drop by again!

I'll let you in a little revelation about my favorite usernames in my virtual sites. First is about my Mikimoto Angel pen name. Mikimoto is a famous brand of pearl accessories in America. I first saw that brand in Vogue Magazine. I got mesmerized by that label, and I thought of using it. I just added Angel from my name "Angela". Thus, the formation of Mikimoto Angel.

For my other pen name Mystic Nymph, the word mystic really came from the show Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog. I used to be so hooked to that show. I am also obsessed with mythologies, and nymphs are mythical creatures depicted as beautiful young women who are considered as guardians of objects and places in nature. Thus, the evolution of Mystic Nymph.

day 15 - a song that best describes you

Warning: This post can get cheesy. I hope you’ll still bear with me.

I am a self-confessed undercover agent. I snoop around. I’m good in spying, and I can get honest answers most of the time. That’s what I got from being obsessed with our short course of Forensics back in first year high school. I love being a detective in my own simple ways. That characteristic holds true even in my role as a girlfriend. Okay, here comes the cheesy part.

I am a kind of girl who doesn't simply get cool with anything my boyfriend does. I actually think I’m a bad girlfriend for doubting him all the time. We argue because I tend not to give my full trust on him. I know it’s a negative vibe that may repel him sooner than I think. I also admit that he gets smothered by me at times, but I admire him for not showing any signs of giving up on me. He doesn’t complain about my ways. Two thumbs down for me!

So, this song that best describes me (as a girlfriend) is from The Bird and The Bee, originally from Hall & Oates. It’s called Private Eyes. From the title itself, need I say more?

Private Eyes by The Bird and The Bee

I see you
You see me
Watch you blowing the lines
When you're making a scene
Oh girl, you've got to know
What my head overlooks
The senses will show to my heart
When it's watching for lies
You can't escape my

Private eyes
They're watching you
They see your every move
Private eyes
They're watching you
Private eyes
They're watching you
Watching you
Watching you
Watching you

This is such a cute song from the musicality to the lyrics, isn’t it? No wonder why I went nuts over it that easily the first time I listened to it. I’m pretty sure a lot of girlfriends out there will like this song as much as I did. I know I’m not the perfect one who should say this, but ladies let us screw the thought of doubting our partners. We should not hinder them from doing what they want. If they break our trust, then to hell with them. Their loss, not ours. This is a piece of advice for everyone, especially for me. A destined relationship will not fizzle out no matter what.

First time to hear this song. Haven't heard much of Hall and Oates. Hehe. I love their "You Make My Dreams" though after watching 500 Days of Summer. :-)

@Ms. Dee: The Bird and The Bee has an album rendition of the best of Hall & Oates.

About 500 Days of Summer, I love the song At Last by Kevin Michael also from that movie.
